Dear Jim,
Reading your post over and over and I marvel at the strength of the human spirit. Everyone on Free Republic has been through so many things and we all come here, the magic place you have created, and we share our joys and our pain, our ups and downs, and none of us are strangers though we might have never met. This is a testament to you and a legacy no one else I know could claim. Every page from day one of FR is filled with love for you and even if it isn’t outwardly visible, it is always there. Always.
You and John have knit us into a family and I don’t think there is a single one of us who isn’t holding you close in our hearts and praying for your recovery asap. And the anxiety we feel won’t diminish until someone tells us that you are out of surgery and doing well. The best moment of all will be when we hear from you. I pray it’s sooner rather than later because this place needs you. WE need you. G-d willing, we will have you for many years to come.
