Normally would agree, but up until now the price tag has been illusive. October first the cost comes into focus. I think that is the game changer.

It would still hit one month before the election next year. I would prefer a 9 month or a 3 year delay.

I can’t lose sight of the fact, though, that what I want is a REPEAL.

A defund is a temporary measure until the next funding cycle, presumably as soon as November. A lengthy delay gives that much more time to fight this.
