WASHINGTON — Following the epic, 21-hour speech by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, supporting the defunding of Obamacare, either voters made so many calls to establishment Republicans that their phone lines melted, or those GOP leaders took their phones off the hook.
Even in this age of digital wizardry and limitless voicemail, callers could not get through at all to Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.

Got thru to the RNC. They said if you did get thru to Mc Connel’s line you were greeted by rude staff members. They offered to relay a message. I told him to tell the Senator to grow a pair. He chuckled

Put some realistic fear into them and they will listen. Until then, enjoy being a subject of the political class.
These gentlemen should not be surprised that they do not get envelopes with money enclosed. Nor do the MULTIPLE dues and contribution collectors. Why would I want this kind of performance? Why support it?
The Honorable (with earned respect) Ted Cruz and those like him? Well that is another matter. — A phone number and address (for congratulations and contributions that will produce a desired result) must be available for him somewhere on this FR service!!
The GOP does not realize that “fundamentally transforming America” means exterminating the GOP and instituting a perpetual one-party rule. They have stupidly allowed the dems to separate them from their activist base. Yes, the GOP is dead. The coroner ruled it a suicide.
And the NSA was sucking down all those numbers for the enemies lists. Ain’t life grand under the Obama Regime and the Just Us Department?

If you are a registered republican, change your registration to independent.
You can still vote republican when you find worthy candidates, but the establishment leadership can no longer count you as a given.
Eventually, the party will either die or change to serve it’s constituents.
I know McCain and McConnells were as I tried calling but so were Democrat Tim Kaines because every time I called him today, the call dropped off! I had option 1 leave a voice message or #2 talk to someone in office I would push #2 and it would disconnect meBet you could have gotten through if you were from K-Street.
