Washington does a kabuki dance. Senate rules. They are distorted and complex. Most of the Senators don't even understand them. It has been 100 years of chess. Of move and counter move. Don't like the rules? expand on them. It is meant to confuse. The senators aides are paid to find loopholes.
Government is too big and we need to stand behind Ted Cruz.
If we all just pick up the phone and call, get on their facebook page or tweet your Senator we might have a chance. If you sit there and do nothing, this may be it.

I think there should be a Monty Python clip of some sorts to explain the process:
“We have a vote to decide whether to vote on an issue requiring another vote to proceed and pass, or to vote on whether or not to vote for continuing debate, and then voting at some point in the future to have another vote on whether or not to vote on ending debate and voting to proceed and pass or voting to continue debate.”
eh, something like this.

Well, I’ve called my senators but they are Chuck Shumer and Kirstin Gillebrand - as hard core leftists are there are in the Senate.
Translation: I wasted my breath
