Ok, will someone please tell me why 40+ GOP senators are willing to vote yes for cloture, which would essentially be telling the world, “Oh, ok. The Dems win because we give up without a fight.”

I don’t get it. What’s the downside for them to stand up against Reid? Or rather, what is their stated reason for being wimpy she-males?

Bear in mind, just because cloture goes through, doesn’t mean Obamacare is funded. It means we’re approaching a shutdown.

If this happens, we need to ramp up the pressure on the House to max.

I’d say re-examine your premises. We have a one party system: the gop/’rat uniparty. Some small number of reps on the gop side are actual conservatives but they’re outnumbered. I’d say we have about 15 who are consistently on our side on the Senate side, maybe 100 or so in the House.
