I think most people on FR love her and have great respect for her, with a few exceptions. I don’t have any idea if she will run for office again. She has having a huge influence by working to help get people like Ted Cruz and other TEA party candidates elected, so that may be the role she chooses rather than being in elected office again. I don’t think anyone could predict her long term plans.

Yep...there absence said all we need to hear...they’ve officially announced they are above the people by NOT being there and doing their job we asked them to do...they have stepped over to the other side IMO...
BTW Toomey from Pa. is sidestepping the issue of cloture...he’s doing exactly what Cruz said they would do...playing like they’re going to vote against Obamacare when in fact they are on the bandwagon which opposes the people’s will.....unfortunately some will believe they voted against it...the low end voters haven’t a clue it’s the cloture vote that counts.
It has already been defunded in the House. If the Senate strips it and sends it back, it goes to reconciliation. That’s when we see if the House leadership as any gonads.

What I find gobsmacking is that most of the beltway GOP seem to think this is just another farm bill or whatever that they can BS us on.
Even Hannity is on to the McConnell and Coryn two step jive BS. He called them out hard on his show.

Not really.....the inner republican war has been ongoing for a long while now....they just aren’t hiding it so easily. These are the old career politicians who are deeply entrenched and want to stay in the game with the least amount of ripples......at least til they are gone or retired.
They fight against any diversion away from the stronghold they have and want to keep...as well as not doing anything which disturbs their “friendhips” among the opposition who they believe they can trade off with.
Too long in office it’s ceased being about representing the people...it’s about winning the most for themselves..the party...and least of all the people.
Ann’s got a ways to go before she can gain my approval again....if at all. She messed up several times now so I never know for sure which end she’s aiming at...
Oh I most certainly agree, caww! Ann has lost a lot of credibility over the past several years in my eyes too.
In fact when this article arrived in my mail box I almost deleted it because it had her name on it. But the title made me do a double take.
I felt that this particular piece was very articulate in describing the current situation with Obamacare.
I’ve done that with a few who I don’t generally support all that much... Savage and Beck I use to listen to...but you have to keep one eye open with them...they can go out there in left field so far it becomes swampland!
With all of them you have to remember they have ratings and notoriety to think of....and they are under the owners dictates.
But I had trouble just listening to Ann before she messed up...
Welcome to FR! I don’t post as often as I used to but do read posts as I can. If you’ve been lurking, you’ve probably realized that this is a great site with many wonderful, intelligent, highly-informed and super nice people.
