“We are asking the Israeli police not to provide permission for the huge numbers of Jews who visit and especially to bar the extreme Jews from entering the Noble Sanctuary, says Sheikh Azzam al-Khatib, director of the waqf, in between a flurry of phone calls about the rising tensions amid the Jewish High Holidays. These extreme Jews are trying to create new facts on the ground.
Which of course was not at all what I was trying to do with a few bulldozers back in 2000. Naw. I was just removing some ancient brick-a-bracks.
Muslim concerns over the Temple Mount come amid rising Arab frustration with the “Judaization” of Jerusalem, where Jewish groups promoting (and funding) a greater Jewish presence have increasingly acquired properties in sensitive areas including the Muslim quarter of the Old City and predominantly Arab neighborhoods of East Jerusalem.”
“frustration”? She takes all these claims by Islamofascists on face value as facts, and then characterizes murder and missiles as ‘frustration’. It’s good to know somebody’s following in Helen Thomas’ smelly footsteps.
While I am in touch with someone who can give me authoritative answers when I need them, my consistent policy on all these Noachide/Temple/Messianic movements is to always remain open, but to proceed with the greatest caution.
Always easier to get forgiveness than permission.

Thus the title warning.
For what? That I visited Israel once and met Yehuda Etzion or that some of the "temple" groups are into multi-religious ecumenicism?
We?
It seems a reasonable position. We don’t want to push away our friends, but we, as do they, have principles which cannot be compromised.
I stopped reading before the boiling had a chance to get going, right at that point.
We did have it then. Only one-eyed Moe decided it would be easier to make piece if we gave it back.
I trust the person with whom I am in contact. I was referring to all that other stuff out there.
I probably should have too, but by that point I wanted to see how the horror movie ended.
Did it get worse?
Photos from 1984 visit please, and links on the second.
It wasn't 1984. It was later than that, but still before I registered at Free Republic.
Sorry. Don't have a scanner. And even if I did I wouldn't post any pictures of myself because, quite frankly, I'm paranoid. I got here when posters' e-mails were automatically given at the end of each post and I got some unfriendly e-mails.
Also, while this may be hard to believe, I am quite painfully aware that I am not a nice person and often treat other FReepers horribly. And what may be even harder to believe, there are occasions when I see this and regret it and try to make amends. You know, if I were someone else, I wouldn't like me either.
ok, just the links on the second...
I'm willing to post a link to the site, but you must first understand that it itself isn't entirely trustworthy either. Are you willing to accept the fact that sometimes a site/source with its own problems can still be spot on some issues? If so, I'll post the link.
Yes.
I’ll continue to not look, even though there is a morbid temptation, like poking a dead possum on the road to see the maggots disturbed.
Pllease take this up with Zechariah. At this point, I am just a very weak and feeble messenger.
Zechariah 12:10
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

Also, as unbelievable as this sounds, some of the so-called Third Temple movements and organizations are involved in ecumenical and syncretic activities which are the absolute antithesis of what the Temple is all about.
PLEASE SOURCE / LINK THAT.
::Sigh:: I was going to. I just wanted to make sure ahead of time that you understood that this guy is a fruit loop on a lot of issues. He's also a meshichist, though, thank G-d, adamantly opposed to the arch heresy of 'eloqut, the belief of some Chabadniks that the late Lubavitcher Rebbe (zt"l) was (chas vechalilah!) "G-d in a human body."
Here is one section of his web site that contains information on this issue. Please don't be sidetracked by his obsession with "reds" (he's also one of those people who believes the USSR never fell but is merely tricking everybody). Here is his "newsletter archive" which contains, among other things, examples of ecumenicism polluting the Orthodox Jewish world.
Please don't feel the need to tell me that this guy's a bit of a "kook." He has any number of strange beliefs (ie, "there's no such thing as a virus"), but he does cite examples of ecumenism in the Temple and Noachide movements as well as in the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.
