Oktoberfest 2013: the world's largest beer festival kicks off in Munich, Germany

The 180th edition of the Bavarian capital's annual celebration of beer has opened. With beer tents spread over sprawling grounds close to downtown Munich some 7 million visitors are expected by the time the festival ends on October 6.

What’s not to like? Going to Oktoberfest in Munich is definitely on my bucket list.

I’d rather take a few weeks to get there. I don’t think I want to get on a plane anymore, TSA not withstanding. Too many bad thoughts about it run through my head.
