Oktoberfest 2013: the world's largest beer festival kicks off in Munich, Germany

The 180th edition of the Bavarian capital's annual celebration of beer has opened. With beer tents spread over sprawling grounds close to downtown Munich some 7 million visitors are expected by the time the festival ends on October 6.

Hofbräuhaus beer hall is the most famous of the beer halls - I’ve been there, a huge hall with tables end to end - food and beer, beer, beer. What a good time we had.

I remember (rather vaguely, heh, the memory was vague even as it was happening), an Oktoberfest in Munich circa 1975. Until I, at last, take my final breath on this earth, a clear refrain will echo in my mind...

October is also the month for the Mozart festival in Salzburg.

I was often torn between going to Munchen or Salzburg.

I will answer then, if a girl has the ribbon belt tied to her left she is single, if tied to the right she is married. That part is about 40 seconds in, but of course you have to speak German to understand that, and she speaks quite fast. :)

She is/was single when she made this video, in 2012. But young ladies like this, are never really single are they?
