I don’t get why you and those like you do not understand that a conservative house does not need any help from the senate or the White House to stop the money.

No money bill can become law unless the house signs off on it.

Think of it as if you were talking about a check.

The secretary can write all of the checks she wants to write, but they are worthless until the person who is legally empowered to sign, signs it.

In a large corporation even the president can not sign the check nor can any of the board sign the check, unless they have been given that duty. Only the chief financial officer.

Obumbler can not sign the checks nor can the senate.

Only the house.

It is the difference between theory and reality.

In theory, I agree with you but the reality is that every single time the Republicans have attempted a government shutdown, they lost the battle of public opinion. FoxNews, talk radio and the opinion section of the WSJ are not enough to counteract the mainstream media.
