Why does everyone act like the Senate is the end-all be-all? It isn’t. The House has the power of the purse. All they have to do is to continue to exercise that power. It doesn’t matter what those dipshits in the Senate do or don’t do on this one. Of course, this will require the leadership and others to have the testicular fortitude to keep up the fight and not cave on the shut down.

The constitutions balance of powers were set up for reasons just like this. The Senate doesn’t get to be the all powerful arm of the government.

The reason I think the Senate is a big deal is because it is going to require exposure of the Dems. They are like cockroaches. They will have to deal with this and only the hardliners are ok with that. It makes the sleazy Dem Senators take a stand! It exposes them....this is good!
