I was going to respond similarly with:
We should never try to land on Normandy, it is way to fortified. Besides, if we do successfully land on Normandy, then there is no way to defeat Hitler in France! He is much to ensconced and even the French population realized that he can’t be beat. Besides, if we did somehow happen to beat him in France, then surely there is no way to defeat him in his homeland!
We should just stay in England rather than take such risks that are garunteed to fail!
I agree. I’m getting pretty damn tired of all the naysayers. Even if the senate strips out the zerocare defunding we have had a moral victory in the House. Every war has battles. This battle may be the turning point. It does NOT help the morale or the cause to run around cowardly whining that we can’t win and suggesting that we shouldn’t at least try and do what we can. Thank God George Washington and his troops didn’t have that attitude. So to you naysayers ... get a backbone cause YOU are a BIG part of the problem.
Likewise:
We should NOT cross the Delaware; it is too cold; it is too snowy; current is too strong; not enough boats; hardly any powder; and, if by remote chance we make it across, and make the march to their camps, those fierce and maniacal Hessions will slaughter us, and the Revolution will be doomed.
