Billy Ray Cyrus has rushed to the defense of his pop star daughter Miley insisting that she has ''risen to a whole new level'' since her controversial performance at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.
The 52-year-old actor and country singer said he is proud of his 20-year-old daughter and understands that she wants to leave her Disney image behind.

A few years ago my little granddaughter wanted to buy a Hannah Montana tshirt or backpack or something. I discouraged my daughter from getting it remembering how the Hollywood hucksters sold Britney Spears to little girls and then turned her into a pop slut as soon as she reached 18. These former child stars have a following of kids who have supported them since childhood and like the Pied Piper they lead some of these impressionable teens into a whole bunch of behaviors that will lead them to ruin. Hollywood and the music industry are no better than drug dealers in the way that they knowingly destroy the lives of young people.
It seems that there are often hangers-on around these stars eager to get them drugs in order to remain in the star’s entourage.

Hollywood and the music business has a long history of using demonic imagery in their performances and record albums.
