It is "coercion" when you try to set up a framework based on your personal theology that scientists (of all faiths) must work within, and tell them where they are and are not allowed to look for evidence.
Nobody asked for that... I didn’t... and maybe I don’t have all the fine points quite right but I am confident in the generalities. Whatever this arrangement popularly called “science” has become, it has managed to squelch the kind of talk that Sir Humphrey Davy dealt in. He wouldn’t have to demand it from a Buddhist physicist in order to insist on using it himself in the same milieu.
