I have a dear friend who is a trucker, and while he is 100% with us in viewpoints, I sure doubt he can take the inevitable firing that would occur if he disobeyed his company’s dictates and went to participate in this.

I hired a truck that was loaded this morning in Baltimore and ready to roll at 0930 and heading to Pine Bluff, AR.

The Maryland permit was requested yesterday at 14’-7” tall. When the truck was loaded it measured 14’-4” so the permit request was ammended for that and issued with a requirement that it be physically measured by an MD State patrolman before leaving the load point.

Only took him three hours to get there and finally rolling at 2:00 but only went 19 miles all day and had to stop for DC rush hour curfew and can’t travel move again 9:00 in the morning because of more DC curfew.

Got to be hard for a truck driver to make a buck sitting still and I need my shit in Arkansas two days ago.
