RE :” Obama vetoing (or Dingy Harry blocking) a CR that defunded both mandatory and discretionary spending on ObamaCare would have the effect of stopping discretionary spending on the program while leaving in place the (mostly non-existent, if RedState is correct) mandatory spending.

The House now passed a CR wo funding Obama-care now its time for Cruz, Lee, Rubio, Paul,...~ 16 of them to pick up the ball and not allow a CR funding Obama-care to get passed out of the Senate.

They been lecturing the House GOP endlessly but now its time for them to say in actions ‘do as I do’ not just ‘Do as I say’.

They need to Shutdown Reid's Senate until Reid passes the House Defund bill to go to Obama, and don't pass a Senate Ocare funded CR bill back to House then continue lecturing them, because such a surrender in Senate will result in Obama-care funded. STOP IT IN SENATE NOW!
