Really? I must've watched another interview. All I ever heard him say is he needed to see the evidence. Hearsay from the UN and obama administration's state run press is NOT "evidence." I know that may be disappointing to some here but "evidence" is rooted in truth. For example, he admits chemical weapons were used (a presumed fact). Where he disagrees is in who used them. You, the UN, nor obama have proof that Assad used them and when looking at his history as the leader of Syria he has NEVER used those weapons on his own people. Your position is "he has them so that means he used them." That's crap. We've had nukes longer than any other country and since WWII we've NEVER used them. Using your reasoning skills we have.
This is the United States of America and in this country Americans believe that people are innocent until proven guilty. Yes... Assad is guilty of a lot of things but I don't see or hear any evidence that proves, at this point, that Assad is guilty of using chemical weapons and as he said, when your military is advancing and winning why would you use chemical weapons? To me that's a good point
I tend to believe that al qaeda used them and is trying to frame the Assad regime and you have no evidence to prove otherwise.
