Bad time slot for Greta.

She puts everyone to sleep and 7:00 is far too early.

Good for Greta, she is the best interviewer on any station.

Awwwwwww, how cute. All the employees at Fox News have their schedules and their lives turned upside down because Queen Bee Megyn Kelly demanded her schedule be changed to accommodate her new baby.. Awwwww, isn’t that special?

Has anyone seen the new Howie Kurtz media show on Fox? He’s a Leftie from the git-go and I’ve tried watching the show two successive weeks and tuned out after a couple of minutes each time. It seems to be all about social media which bores me stiff. Bring back the old Fox Newswatch!

Wish they could have moved Hannity to the “new” prime time: 2 AM.

As it stands, sounds like a nice, liberal lineup, followed by a clown.

Funny thing is while bumping Shep off of 7pm (he was boring) MSNBC took away Matthews 5pm slot.

Kelly is much easier to watch/listen to than Hannity is.
I couldnt take his whining at all.

Now she goes up againts Maddow.

Is it me or is Fox getting soft?

Since my job changed hours I haven't been watching Fox too much. I've pretty much been getting my news from Breitbart, FR , The Blaze and Mark Levin. It's amazing how I'm no longer distracted by celebrity gossip, stupid non-stories and other assorted "entertainment" from people like Fox 'n Friends, BillO and Sean Vannity.

I am not a fan of Megyn Kelly. That is disappointing.

Not bad. I too will not miss Les Nessman.
Greta at seven is for me a good move, since I think she is the best of the bunch. Agree or disagree, she always gives the guest enough time to explain their position or long enough to hang themselves. Beats the hell out of O’Baxter and Hannity. I do not know about Kelly other than the fact that she is a real pleasure to look upon.

I watch Fox news with avid interest, but then I watch MSNBC with interest because I survey the shows not to be informed and certainly not be persuaded but to uncover how they are attempting to propagandize. I want Fox to succeed and I want MSNBC to fail.

So even though O'Reilly is a self-aggrandizing bore who devotes about 60% of the show to fluff to maintain ratings, I want to know how he appeals to moderates and undecideds whom he seduces into watching a show.

Judging the Fox hosts on this basis, I do not care whether O'Reilly is overbearing or Hannity becomes tedious or if Greta gets too deeply into the weeds (for my taste I wish all the Fox hosts would get more deeply into the weeds-but that is not my test or my goal) except in so far as those deficiencies cause them to lose battles in the propaganda war.

On the other side, O'Reilly has a knack for articulating an issue and he usually comes out on the right side-but of course not always. Hannity almost always comes out on the correct side, but he grinds away at it. Moreover, Hannity permits guests to talk over one another which is just as irritating as watching O'Reilly himself interrupt and talk over his guests.

Greta deserves credit as the most improved of the Fox hosts and one who exudes credibility. On the downside, she talks to much and she betrays a level of naïveté and a tendency toward goody two shoes which annoys me but which might be very effective with the female audience.

I'm not inclined to be personally happy about Megan Kelly appearing at 9 PM because I expect her to present a news show and I want to watch opinion at that hour. In any event she will be better at it than Shepard Smith and more conservative, although not necessarily reliably so.

The proof is in the ratings and Roger Ailes has demonstrated a knack for getting ratings and I therefore conclude that his hosts, compared to those on MSNBC, are persuasive.

girl, boy, girl, boy...sounds more like a sixth grade dance than a prime time lineup. We’ll see what they do with the content of each show. Would have been more interesting to me to see greater in depth coverage of flyover country in the 10 pm ET slot, someone based in TX or CO doing more regional issues and political races for an hour.

Not really a fan of any of the four, don’t watch them now with any regularity, don’t see anything here that would provide a reason to tune in anytime but the extraordinary news day.

I will continue to watch Greta and some of Hannity.

O’Reilly can KMA and I can’t stand Megyn Kelly.

Thank God for FR!!!!

I learn more from everyday FReepers than I could ever learn by watching Fox....or any of the rest of the alphabets.

I find ‘some’ FReepers to be extremely intelligent and knowledgeable, EVEN those that I disagree with.

Again, Thank God for Free Republic....and for Jim whatshisname!!! ;>)

Oh man... I'm really disappointed. Trading Greta for Hannity at my favorite TV watching time.

That blows very much.

OTOH if the bigs at FOX allow Greta to do real news at her new time she'll do well IMO.
