Hey, pal. If you do not wish to support our fight against unconstitutional big government then please post elsewhere. Defeatism is not welcome here.

...Hey, pal. If you do not wish to support our fight against unconstitutional big government then please post elsewhere. Defeatism is not welcome here...

Politics are not the National Football League. Losses have real consequences: damaged economies, lost rights, murdered unborn and further decline of the culture, if that is even imaginable.

It is my opinion that the strategy proposed by Senator Cruz is doomed to defeat. The cost of that defeat will be high. How high the cost I do not know. I prefer not to find out.

As for the qualities of Sen. Cruz, I do not have enough information to form a solid opinion. He is certainly intelligent. But, he also is young and untested, and he seems terribly ambitious for a man with precious little experience at this game. I am wary until proved otherwise.

For my money, Sen. Paul is a far cooler head and persuasive advocate for the causes that we share (how quick you are to assume that I do not share your objectives if I question your tactics). Let us not get too passionate in support of our “team” and lose sight of the goal.

As in professional golf, one can't win a tournament on Thursday. But, one can surely lose it. Sen. Cruz is threatening to lose this tournament very early in the first round. I hope that cooler heads, like Senator Paul's, prevail.
