Congressman: CIA Employee Who Refused to Sign Non-Disclosure on Benghazi Suspended
Washington Free Beacon ^

A CIA employee who refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement barring him from discussing the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, has been suspended as a result and forced to hire legal counsel, according to a top House lawmaker.

Rep. Frank Wolf (R., Va.) revealed at an event on Monday that his office was anonymously informed about the CIA employee, who is purportedly facing an internal backlash after refusing to sign a legal document barring him from publicly or privately discussing events surrounding the Benghazi attack.

The revelation comes about a month after several media outlets reported that CIA employees with knowledge of the terror attack had been forced to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDA) and submit to regular polygraph tests.

“The reports on the NDA are accurate. We’re getting people who call,” Wolf said Monday during an event marking the launch of the Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi, a panel of former military and intelligence officials who are investigating unanswered questions surrounding the Benghazi incident.

The dirty little secret is that because the CIA has shields regarding employee identification it “employs” members of the families of Congress and others who are being paid back by the administration. What does anyone think the Valerie Plame thing really was? That was nothing more than a cush job handed out as a political repayment for past services.

Suspicion: Disclosure that the US was smuggling chemical weapons from Libya to the Syrian rebels would not be convenient at this time.
If not legally, aka obama was morally duty-bound not to leave the Americans in Benghazi (especially the four who lost their lives) in the lurch. He (or his string-pulling puppeteer, Jarrett of the face of bat) actively denied their rescue attempt, which was already automatically immediately underway. This flouts basic moral decency and all military tradition unless the lives of many more American citizens (at home or abroad) were immediately and directly at stake. There is absolutely no evidence of this or even the slightest reasonable supposition of any justifying circumstance of any kind.

An honest investigation would likely reveal that the Benghazi betrayal was done to enable our enemies to succeed in capturing ambassador Stevens, either to trade him later for the Blind Sheik or to kill him outright in order to cover aka obama’s tracks in supplying weapons to our enemies in Syria or elsewhere. While the simple act of denying a rescue attempt might not by itself be treason, when coupled with the reason behind the denial, it most certainly is.

Even the most addle-brained leftist Kool-Aid drinker can’t help but see that the rescue denial was an extreme act of self-serving cowardice in an attempt sweep under the carpet and hide that aka obama was “adhering to [the USA’s] Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort” (i.e., TREASON).

By the way, this kind of treason is normally punishable by the death, but I, for one, would be perfectly satisfied to see aka obama just sentenced to only to do five to ten years of really hard time in the electric chair (I’d even allow the power to be shut off during non-business hours out of deference to the loony greenies).

What is he hiding? Something real big that he doesn’t want the American people to know.

Just out of curiosity, just how far do you think they would go if everything he did was public?

I think it would be one thing if they were able to roll him up before anyone knew anything about him. No one would ever know his name. But, if he walked into a roomful of media, while meeting with some Congressional Committee, I think it’d be much more difficult. Kind of like when Jack Ryan walks in to the room to give his testimony at the end of Clear and Present Danger. What would obama do, have a SWAT team go in there and snatch him in front of everyone? Perhaps.

This is a good man, I hope he is given the resources to accomplish his goals.

Retired Air Force Col. Richard Brauer, cofounder of the group Special Operations Speaks, said the committee would aim to find out why U.S. military assets were ordered to “stand down” during the Benghazi attack.

“We’re tired of the lies and the cover-up that continues to this day,” Brauer said. “Who gave the order” to stand down, “to remain in place in Tripoli and the other locations and do nothing. When was this order given and why?”

“Forces were available on that very night, likely champing at the bit, but they were told to stand down,” he said. “These are words that will live in infamy

I appreciate than “nailing” Hillary is rather like nailing jello to the wall. That said, I just heard on Fox that her “assistant” CHANGED the ARB’s report in a substantive way thereby insuring no accountability. No doubt this is at Hillary’s instruction. Interfering with an official government investigation, last time I heard, is by definition “obstruction of justice” and particularly in a case involving death. Watergate was all about a rifled file drawer and unlawful entry. The biggest stick they had against Nixon was “obstruction of justice”.

The Government is determined to see that we never find out how badly they screwed up in Benghazi.

The main screw-up will be running for President soon.

"He has most likely signed other agreements to keep information confidential. If he comes forward they can and will arrest him and hold him under the Homeland Security act. (Can’t recall the exact name of it.) But he can be held indefinitely without access to a lawyer."

That is a version of disappearing someone, which is what the Administration has already done with some large number (30+)of other employees who were at the CIA annex at the time of the attack. Whatever Obama and Hillary are hiding is deep and dark and they would probably do anything to keep it secret. Issa needs to up his game a lot to get through the veil of this secrecy.
