California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein is renewing her call for new gun-control laws because of Monday’s deadly Navy Yard shooting.

“When will enough be enough?” Feinstein said in a statement Monday evening.

“Congress must stop shirking its responsibility and resume a thoughtful debate on gun violence in this country,” she said. “We must do more to stop this endless loss of life.”

"“There are reports..... the killer was armed with an AR-15,...... a shotgun and a semiautomatic pistol when he stormed an American military installation in the nation’s capital and took at least 12 innocent lives,” she said.

Predictable as a dog bark. Liberals have a thin playbook that they run time after time.

For some useful perspective...

In the United States, influenza claims on average 20,000 lives per year.

Food poisoning accounts for another 5,000 deaths.

All of the above are icky ways to go, and most are preventable.

As a resident of the People’s Pepublick of Konnecticut I have paid careful attention to news reports today. The MSM is reporting it, however not at any level approaching the SH shooting.

How’s about a thoughtful debate on government security protocols, Dianne?

If gun control laws worked, Chicago would have the lowest homicide rate in the country.

What was this guy's political affiliation?

Should we look there for a ban?

She ALWAYS annoyed me.
She was RIGHT out there with gun control. However, She PACKS a Smith & Wesson because she doesn't "feel safe" at night by herself.
Well EXCUUUUUUUSSSE me. What a jackass.

My husband lived in Eureka, California, got a permission to pack...which was good in ALL of California. It was FUN to pack in California, especially IN San Francisco.

And Switzerland, where all men between 20 and 30 years old are *required* by law to have a firearm at home -- would have the highest.

Creepy.

When I travel around this crazy city, as I do every day, I check traffic on my phone- the active map.

Every day, at any given hour, there are like four accidents.

I lived in in Germany in a densely populated area, for a long time. Saw one accident per year.

Reckless driving IS preventable, plus, they take away driving license (privileges) for a minimum of one year on ONE DUI, of course, as they do on any military base, here. Retaking the course and retesting for a new license. it’s like 5G plus the inconvenience and embarrassment.

No one drives DUI there.

It can be done. It is obvious that lives saved is not the idea
