Isn't the Washington Navy Yard in DC? Doesn't DC have some of the strictest gun laws in the country?

Staging a shooting in an area that already bans guns doesn’t do you any good.
You need somebody to go postal at a gun range and kill everyone there.
All this shooting does is gives pro-gun people all the evidence they need to support the position that laws that ban guns only harms people, not helps them.
At Ft. Hood, I would have required EVERYONE who could carry a gun to carry a gun after Hasan.
This should be SOP on every base - remain armed at all times.
Had those dead pilgrims had a gun, they’d have had a chance.
Now, they’re just the honored dead.
