Three SHORT bursts doesn’t sound like any kind of fire I ever heard of, I expect it was supposed to be three SHOT bursts but what I heard her say was three SHORT bursts. In any event an AR-15 only fires once when the trigger is pulled, not any kind of burst.

I'd go by what she imitated rather than her uneducated use of terminology: "pow pow pow" then "pu-pu-pu-pow", i.e., three separate rounds followed by a four round 'burst'. Not select fire or full auto.

Apparently you and I heard two differnt reporters, the one I heard did not give a description like that.
