To: the OlLine Rebel

I know that the Navy Yard is on the Anacostia River. But I was commenting to someone who thought Reagan National Airport was on the same side of the Potomac river as the Navy Yard. Thus, I said it’s across the Potomac. Sorry about any confusion. Someone in the Navy Yard could fire a missile and hit a plane taking off or landing at Reagan.

I did not say it was on the same side of Potomac. They are far enough apart to be very inconvenient for 1 party to commit multiple attacks in each place, or too far for mere hand-guns to hit a plane. Missiles and rockets are very different from mere bullets.
