Remember when the old Baltimore Bullets moved to DC? They changed their names to the Wizards in response to the horrific murder rate there. Yeah, that silly move put a real dent in DC crime didn’t it? Well, didn’t it?
Since that’s the way they feel I’m all for removing ALL aboriginal references in place names from the US.
They will choose some metrosexual name to keep from offending.
So how in the world are the Cowboys going to fight the Silk or the Turkeys (that might be fun)?

When you consider how badly my team played for most of its history, if God wasn’t offended by New Orleans calling themselves Saints, then IMO everyone else needs to lighten up...
What makes them think that the image of an Indian warrior is a negative one? How can you deny history just because that's not who you are today as an nation? Ridiculous!

The goal here is not the term Redskins, the goal is to move the ball towards being able to claim that conservative speech is hate speech because it offends people and should therefore not be allowed on the air or in the public domain.
When a Virginia Tech professor chastised people for saying “Support the troops”, the university responded that “allowing things that offend us, helps us to grow”.
So the Redskins are actually helping us to grow.

Years ago, on Dennis Praeger’s show he interviewed someone claiming to be a “Native American activist” about this very subject. He asked Praeger how he would like it if there were a team called the Texas Jewboys? Mr. Preager responded that he would be overjoyed because fimally after 5000 yrs someone would be cheering for us.
Solution #1 Leave the name as Redskins and change the logo to a Redskin Potato!
Solution #2 Write a big check to someone as did the Florida State University!
