I have the only totally Caucasian lawn service in our entire county and they are reasonably priced. At least once a week a Hispanic will stop and offer to “do it for much less”. Have also had painters and small contractors who were Hispanic stop and want to do work at very little over the cost of the materials, particularly if I pay cash. To all of these I say no thanks.
They don’t pay payroll or income taxes, have worker’s comp or liability insurance. It’s no wonder they can undercut companies that are non-Hispanic.
American citizens have brought a lot of this on themselves because they want the cheapest housekeepers, gardeners and repairmen - no questions asked.
Out of curiosity, have you bothered to check if the Latinos are legal residents or citizens and if they pay taxes? Or for that matter if the white lawn guys pay their workers comp or taxes either? Or do you just make assumptions based on their ethnicity?
