Giron is a psycho. She lost by 12 points in a heavily Democratic district in a county run by Democrats. Voters were not suppressed. The voters suppressed her.

That Giron woman is an embarrassment. She is a low quality bigmouth. No wonder people wanted her gone. Maybe voters decided she was not worth going to the polls for.
We also can conclude that there may have been fraud on the dem side last election.

Wow! Giron (or "H"iron, whatever) is actually so clueless she doesn't even realize that in her condemnation of the vote, claiming her supporters didn't know "where to vote, how to vote", etc, she is essentially saying Dems are too stupid to know how to get to the polls and vote!
Voter suppression, my rear!!

Giron’s argumane doesn’t make sense on the face of it. Did her opponent’s voters cast their ballots under different rules than her voters? Or, were the rules the same for all voters? These are the questions I ecpected that anchor to ask Giron immediately and she never did.
That said, she did do a good job in not buying Giron’s ridiculous argument.
To: ken5050
Giron: We know what really happened here. Yes, we had the strong NRA and you have a person like Mr. Head, but what this story is really about, its about voter suppression, Giron said.
CNN Anchor Brooke Baldwin: OK, forgive me, but Im going to cut you off right there. Because if we talk voter suppression, Ive read reports on lack of popularity on your behalf. Lets just not go there.
Giron's look in the image below as she was shot down in flames by the CNN anchor. She probably thought CNN was going to be the usual supportive softball throwing spinners but found herself stomped like a nark at a biker rally.

If these bastards and bastardettes would just once, JUST ONCE, admit defeat in an admirable fashion like an adult they just might gain some respect. Time and time again all they effin’ do is complain and cast fault on something or someone else.

Love the look on the pol's face when she gets called out.
We're talking serious deer in the headlights. "Waitaminute, this wasn't in the script" -type look. Along with a heaping helping of "Hey! She's actually NOT blindly following the talking points memo she received!"
Pol still got in her points on "Voter Supression" by simply ignoring the reporter's question. But she looked really bad doing it. And she clearly wasn't all that bright a bulb to begin with. Wonder if that's why this CNN infobabe targeted her, figured that it would be an easy score on a Dem who lost, anyway,
I wish that more people than FReepers would see this and pay attention. It's not often that a Dem gets pantsed on national TV, by a "friendly" media source.

She thought she was “wronged.”

CNN's Brooke Baldwin did a good job of slicing through Giron's BS about 'voter suppression' as the cause of her being recalled. Running the clips of voters saying they didn't approve of having their constitutional right abridged was also effective. The ousted Democrat kept hammering away at the 'voter suppression' line but it was as ineffective as it was obviously not true. She was a leftie that overreached and she just can't admit it. Much like Obama who somehow is never responsible for anything he says or does ("I didn't draw that red line", "it's congress' credibility on the line, not mine"). Proof that all libs follow the same playbook.
To: ken5050
Of course DWS and this pol are calling ‘voter suppression’.
They can't come right out and ask/hope for another Sandy Hook to ‘energize’ the gun grabbers movement, which widely been reported enjoyed >90% of Americans’ support.
Now that we know the extent on NSA spying (I am sure not all of it, but enough) on ordinary Americans, have you wonder why it is still a mystery as to the ‘motive’ of the perp? Hard-drive destroyed not withstanding, the authorities can not find any clue. (!!!) THEY can't pin it on Palin, ptsd, returning veterans, tea party, or any of the DHS' extreme rightwings.
I don't know which is worse - that the next ‘lone wolf’ can plot and plan without anybody the wiser (supposedly), or if the authorities (and media) looked but didn't find what they want the public to know. /rant off

Those people would have voted against me no matter what. They didn't vote for me in 2010 when I ran my first election and they wouldn't vote for me if I would have had my regular election in 2014. So that's just a group of people that don't have the same values as myself and the rest of -- the majority, I would say, of people in Pueblo County, which is the district I represent.
you can't help but laugh at liberals who refuse to come out of denial....liberalism truly is a mental disorder...

Just so y’all know, there is some series flooding going on here in Colorado.
And the local media is overjoyed.
They can now completely bury any and all news about the recall aftermath to report on the flooding -and they have.

Brooke Baldwin is liberal, but a good anchor who will ask tough questions
With the way Fox News is going...she may be too right for them. She is definitely hottie enough
I’m surprised CNN has not moved her to a prime-time slot
