During an interview on CSPAN’s Book TV Sunday, “Barack Obama: The Story” author David Maraniss unveiled a photo of a young Barack Obama posing with his infamous pot-smoking “Choom Gang.”
“How much pot-smoking did the president do in Honolulu?” asked host Peter Slen.
“Well, you know, he writes about it in his book,” Marannis responded.
“He doesn’t write in particulars about the ‘Choom Gang.’ Ah, you know, the whole notion of Bill Clinton saying he never inhaled, well Barry said ‘that was the point, wasn’t it?’ when Jay Leno asked him about it. And, you know, some of my book — without going overboard — documents it pretty thoroughly,” he added.
“The ‘Choom Gang,’ that’s what they did,” Marannis said, referring to the gang’s love of “total absorption” (i.e. “hotboxing”). “That was part of his existence during that period.”

Lots of white acquaintances for a hate-whitey kind of guy. Maybe “Frank” hadn’t indoctrinated him yet.

Since I graduated from high school in 1972, I certainly know when the hippie era was. My point was that in the real hippie area, there would have been a chick around. Maybe someone else can speak to the physiques since it’s right there in the photo. My memories of high school boys were that they were amazingly...er...hung up on girls.
I know the waterfall referred to. I’ve gone there. It is conceivable that a group of just guys would go there maybe once (people go and stand under it, it’s an awesome experience), but this “choom gang” seems to have been a “boys only” gang all the time which is not SOP for teenage boys.
Also, one of 0bunghole’s best pals from that gang and the main dope dealer, later on got murdered with a ball peen hammer by his homosexual lover.
That’s all on FR - somewhere.
And his buddy Bob Titcomb from that era who still visits him in the WH and has been photographed with him more than a couple of times when 0 went to HI, was arrested some years ago in connection with a transvestite prostitute.

Actually, his friend Titcomb is called “Bobby.” That can be a clue. I know personally that gays all use diminutives when talking about each other. It’s never “Bob,” its “Bobby,” it’s never “John,” it’s “Johnny.” Probably their obsession with youth and youths. One day, someone will tell me why they are obsessed with beagle dogs. I shudder thinking about it...
