During an interview on CSPAN’s Book TV Sunday, “Barack Obama: The Story” author David Maraniss unveiled a photo of a young Barack Obama posing with his infamous pot-smoking “Choom Gang.”
“How much pot-smoking did the president do in Honolulu?” asked host Peter Slen.
“Well, you know, he writes about it in his book,” Marannis responded.
“He doesn’t write in particulars about the ‘Choom Gang.’ Ah, you know, the whole notion of Bill Clinton saying he never inhaled, well Barry said ‘that was the point, wasn’t it?’ when Jay Leno asked him about it. And, you know, some of my book — without going overboard — documents it pretty thoroughly,” he added.
“The ‘Choom Gang,’ that’s what they did,” Marannis said, referring to the gang’s love of “total absorption” (i.e. “hotboxing”). “That was part of his existence during that period.”

And Zero was not an occasional dabbler in pot... he was hardcore. He admitted in his “autobiography” that he did coke. There was a story about him doing “poppers” (I think that’s a name, whatever it is I have no idea) in connection with a homosexual tryst someone sort of witnessed.
Strangely, I’m just not seeing any Blackness in that photo. Somebody call Cornel West’s office... :)
Wow —I didn’t know about the POPPERS part.
I lived in SF, and I heard that passive male homoz take them for 2 effects:
1. euphoria
2. butt stuff - relaxes the sphincter, in case the person wants to be butt humped by many people.
JUST WOW.
It was in an Ulsterman article - verboten on FR - a woman reporter’s account. So could be made up but it had a very authentic ring and details to it. Freepmail me if you want details, you could search for it.

In this photo Barry is no darker than half of his choom gang buddies whether they be white, Asian or Hawaiian native

I spend way too much time on FR, but I must have missed any articles or vanity posts that definitively prove recent drug use.
I’m surprised because I’d think they would have caused such massive uproar that I couldn’t have missed them.
Poppers are definitely related to the whole gay scene. As someone who worked at Studio 54 in it’s hay day, I remember it. Originally, it was thought to cause AIDs.
If you want ironclad “proof”, it won’t be found.
But there is plenty of circumstantion or other evidece that points to ongoing drug use.
With Zero, there is precious little ironclad evidence of ANYTHING. Too many threats, blackmail, and suspicious deaths for people to make themselves targets by telling what they know.
Appears to fulfill a “token” function even that long ago....sure glad we got over that sort of thing.......

I am two years older than Obama and everybody I knew was smoking dope back then....I smoked everyday....
So this is really no big deal....to me at least....
Also this picture has been around for a while....at least a year ago...
You aren’t president of the United States. I like a president who does not have drug use in his past. In Obama’s case this chooming + cocaine did him no good, this carries into today
