While Fatah head and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas negotiates with Israel for the creation of a PA state, Fatah's armed branch, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade, has declared war.
The Brigade issued a statement Tuesday announcing that it would give the "green light" to terrorist attacks targeting Israelis beginning on Friday.
The reason given for the planned resumption of open hostilities was Jewish visits to the Temple Mount, which the group termed, "The invasion of the compound by hordes of settlers, and the harm to [Muslim] worshipers, with no intervention from the international community."
Tensions have been high on the Temple Mount in recent weeks, with many Jewish visitors to the holy site reporting harassment and violence at the hands of groups of Muslims.
The Temple Mount is the holiest place on earth according to Judaism. The site is currently run by the Muslim Wakf. Jews are allowed to visit only during limited hours, and are forbidden to pray on the Mount.
Muslim leaders have denounced Jewish visits to the Temple Mount, which is also the site of the Al Aqsa Mosque, and have accused Israel and Jews of attempting to harm the mosque. PA leaders, including Abbas himself, have made similar claims, insisting that Jews have no ties to the holy site and that Israel is secretly plotting to replace the mosque with a Jewish Temple.
Police responded to recent Muslim violence by closing the Temple Mount to Jews, a step commanders argued was necessary in order to keep the peace.
The Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade was responsible for several mass-casualty terrorist attacks during the wave of "Second Intifada" attacks on Israel. Among the attacks which its terrorists committed were a shooting at a bat mitzvah - a traditional celebration for a 12-year-old Jewish girl - which left six people dead, a bombing in the Beit Yisrael neighborhood of Jerusalem targeting a group of women and children, which left 11 dead, 7 of them children, and a bombing at the Tel Aviv Central Bus Station that murdered 22.
Here's a quarter... call someone who cares
The correct answer?
Thus says the Lord of hosts: Consider your ways! Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified, says the Lord.(Haggai 1:7-8)
Give it 9 months and Obama will be addressing the nation on why we need to support the Al-Aqsa terrorists against the evil Israeli regime.
Cool. Fatah has “declared war” on Israel - Israel should declare war right back - good ol’ fashioned WWII type total war that doesnt’ give a crap about collateral damage and aims to take territory - permanently.
Starting of course, with the entire Temple Mount.
“The invasion of the compound by hordes of settlers, and the harm to [Muslim] worshipers,
Translation: If a Joo exists it harms a muslim somewhere.

This site was a part of the Jewish Temple for over 2000 years.
Yes.
Yes, tear down Al-Aqsa. If the shoe was on the other foot the Muslims would destroy every synagogue they could. Tear it down and let those inbred Arabs rage, then shoot them. Give them the war they want once and for all. Arabs think they win when they survive, so give them a true humiliating defeat until they beg for mercy and understand.
I was on the Temple Mount about three years ago. Only Muslims are allowed to pray there. A Christian woman had been ejected for saying a silent prayer a few months before we were there. One of our group had his Tallit with him, and was required to leave it with security at the base of the Mount.
I said the Shechechayanu silently, and got away with it. :)
Good for you! I am a Christian, but I LOVE the words of the Shechechayanu. I have added them to my daily prayers, feeling that it puts me in a thankful mode. Last Spring, when my son run a sub-5 min 3200m race in track, I found myself on my knees at the side of the track, praying the Shechechayanu out loud! What a beautiful prayer, and how lucky you were to be able to say it on the Temple Mount.
