The image of Obama walking down the hall towards the camera is one thing. The image of him skulking away after this speech will be another.
Usually, these messages are given from behind his desk in the Oval Office, so he can look like he's going back to work when it's done.

Sure, the Obama Administration is really big on theatrical staging. Unfortunately, there’s little substance behind the staging. But the people who vote for him must like it.
