Lib S.C. college professor told me this week (over breakfast) that the push is already underway for Dems to vote for Graham stronger than ever in the Republican primary.

That should be JOB-1 for Republican activists at all levels:

Getting rid of open primaries.

Another open primary? Good grief, one of the dumbest ideas ever.

Are the Dem primaries open too?

One way to respond to these thoughts is to remind that the Federal government has kept its thumb on several States, especially South Carolina, since the War of Northern Aggression.

If you think in terms of S.C. Dem/Repub (or Repub/Dem) unified party as the majority and independent conservative Constitutionalists in the minority, the reason changes are difficult to bring about becomes more understandable.

Yes, we are hoping for a Cruz/Texas situation next year on June 10th.
