My reoccurring thought is that Obama's defeat that's coming in the house is one he's sown. Why? 1) His polarizing partisanship that goes back to his diatribes against Bush. 2) His persistent defeatism when our soldiers were in Iraq and as they've been in Afghanistan. 3) His disdain for any constraints, constitutional or legislative. 4) His arrogance of refusing to explain what it is that is to be done in Syria. 5) His contempt for all the people in the US that actually make the country work. 6) His mercurial flip flopping that is unbecoming of any leader at even the lowest level.

Having said all of that I do think Syria is a huge problem. Assad, in my opinion, will fall. He cannot even buy food anymore and his agricultural sector is not working. There are two million external refugees, and millions more internal to Syria. The FSA was supplanted by al Qaeda when Obama dithered and dallied about helping them. The stocks of chemical weapons he has could fall into al Qaeda's hands, and no one wants to take the risk to secure them. This is a nightmare, most of which Obama has voted "Present" as an approach towards resolving.

“......How did we ever get so many people to vote for another Jimmy Carter?”.........

It had nothing to do with Jimmy Carter, it was the color of odumbo’s skin that got him the presidency, the dual error came with ZERO’s skills at governing which turned out to be much worse than Carter’s. Simply stated, the rest of us got screwed.

As he always does.

Before Assad falls, I wish he would do the ultimate damage to Obama and his cronies. Show the world that the chemical weapons he possesses, came from Iraq just before we ousted Saddam. It would vindicate Bush, but more importantly, it would make Obama look like the fool that he is.
