Sure. The thing is the ship won’t be the platform used to launch it. A torpedo would have to be transferred to a sub or a ship that has torpedo capable helos. Those ships would already have nukes aboard.
The LST angle indicates it’s carrying stuff meant to be put ashore. Nuclear tipped land based ballistic or cruise missiles? Sure, but land based systems are observable and trackable and therefore not very survivable. Better to keep the nukes in warships and particularly subs.
Landing ships are also routinely used by our Navy for high-priority “NEO” operations, as in, “Non-combatant Evacuation Operations.”
In this case, for getting Russian nationals out.
Or in the case of the U.S. Navy, getting the PLO out of Beirut in 1982, for example.
These Russian amphibious ships are probably full of Russian Marines who will go ashore to defend Russian interests, and gather up Russian nationals if that is ordered.
