I heard him say the same "different things" and I wanted to believe as much as you did. The difference is that I actually took the time to
check the veracity of what he said against his record of actual actions. Indeed, in 2006-7, I was inclined to think highly of Romney because of what he "said" and because of what fellow Republicans I respected (at the time) said about what Romney said.
Then I did my due diligence and removed the wool from over my eyes.
Why didn't you???
And whom did you vote for?

How about believing what our candidate said and using your influence to keep him on the straight and narrow?
