Limbaugh: GOP ‘Frozen’ By ‘Paralyzing’ Accusations of Racism Towards Obama
Mediaite ^ | September 4, 2013 | Noah Rothman

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said on his program on Wednesday that he believes the Republican Party will operate in an entirely different fashion if the next Democratic presidential nominee is not an African-American. He said that the Republican Party is “frozen” in fear of being accused of being racist and is not effectively opposing President Barack Obama as a result of that fear.

“By every measure available to us, polling data, everything but election returns,” Limbaugh began, “the American people oppose what is happening.”

“The party that’s supposed to represent us is afraid to,” he continued. “They are more inclined to either be quiet or to give the appearance of, not opposing Obama — because they’re scared to do it, for some reason. And I think one of the primary reasons or explanations for that is race. I just think it’s paralyzing.”

“I think the accusation of racism and serious criticism will be rejected because it’s said to be racist,” Limbaugh continued. “I really do think it has them befuddled.”

“We haven’t lost the people yet,” he added.

“If the next Democrat presidential candidate is not African-American, it’s going to change everything about the way the Republican Party operates,” Limbaugh said. “I think the Republican Party is frozen.”

He said that, once Democrats cannot accuse the president’s opponents of being racist, it will free the GOP to be more strident in their opposition to Democratic policies.

Rush gives the Republican party more credit than I do.

Certainly the race thing is a problem for the party, but IMO the Republican party no longer exists.
They are so infiltrated with RINO’s that are I reality Dem lites that they are no longer a party ,but part of the Democrats.

They’re frightened by cowardice and gutlessness, nothing more. The libtards cry “racism” more often than say “hello” during the average day, and would accuse a 4-year old of it if it would further their perverted political agenda. They are the most racist scum in the country, and their accusations mean nothing...

From what I hear plenty of Republicans support intervention with many neocons including Karl Rove signing a letter for it.

Donald Rumsfeld, McCain and Graham, John Boehner and my senator Pat Toomey.

I thought these folks were fighting a war on terrorism against Al-Quaeda since 9/11/2001.

Now it looks like all these Republicans want to take sides with Al-Quaeda in Syria.

Its now even more disheartening to realize that GOP leaders have not only lied to us about opposing Obamacare, they have also lied about fighting terrorism with their stand on Syria.

I DON’T HEAR RUSH LIMBAUGH, MY NAMESAKE TALKING THIS WAY ABOUT THE ISSUE. HE’S ALWAYS IN ATTACK THE DEMOCRATS MODE AND TRY TO KEEP US ON THE REPUBLICAN PLANTATION MODE.

Many Republicans have decided to take the side of terrorism in Syria along with Obama and the Democrats making their stated opposition to terrorism look like another lie.

You should have learned that about the GOP
when they ran Mitt Romney in 2012
(backstabber of Gov Palin in 2008 for Obama)
EVEN THOUGH he created RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE.

The net result was ultimate duplicity as
the GOP attempted to run
against DeathCARE/Statism in Medicine,
even after creating it.

Unless Hillary (God forbid) ends up in the white house next! Then they'll just be accused of being "sexist"!

People’s feelings are not covered in the constitution, however, the right to politically incorrect speech is.
The GPO is cowering from accusations of exercising their right to criticize the incompetent buffoon who currently occupies the WHITE House.

There is plenty of cowardice going on, but I am certain Obummer and Jarrett have taken Hoover's little black book of intimidation to new blackmail levels. Cowardice plays into the picture when those who are blackmailed sell their Country out for their personal well-being. That's what going on with Republicans.

Our legislators are just plain cowards.

Racism is a word ... that's all, and all ANY pubbie has to do is continuously hammer on the blatant racism of the mulatto bastard (but I repeat myself) and his administration.

"Senator, we know you wanted to go to war with Syria, but today's vote indicated that you might have changed your mind ... would you comment .. "

"Well .. that's a good question John, and I would remind the people of America that Eric Holder never brought the New Black Panthers to trial because he too is a racist and will do nothing to correct the inordinate inequality of the black attitude against the whites."

"Yes sir, but as far as your vote goes ... "

"There have been hundreds of blacks assaulting and killing whites ever since St Trayvon was beatified and not ONE has been charged, nor have they been charged as a hate crime. It is overly evident that this administration is catering to muslims, al quida, blacks and all manner of enemies to the United States and it begins with the inconsiderate, foot on the desk racist in the White House"

"Sir ... do you agree with ... "

See?

THAT'S how every interview should go. Guaranteed the racism accusations would disappear in a week.

Well, yes..... that AND the fact that Obama is most likely holding something so damaging (gleamed from all the unconstitutional surveillance) over the head of each congressman that they will cave in and obey.

Yep. Rush still can’t bring himself to believe how corrupt and infiltrated the GOP is.

Exactly what's going on. Well said. I was disappointed to hear Rush blame the Pubbies problems on being "frozen by paralyzing accusation of racism".

It has NOTHING to do with racism. His value system is non-existent (ONLY self-serving) and his decisions border on ridiculous. I do NOT care what color he is. And, Obama is NOT the main problem. It IS the (wealthy) people behind the scenes who put him in place who must pay for all of this mess. God, when will people wake up to what the REAL problems are and the REAL people responsible for all of this?

Problem people:

1. Godless, completely unethical law firms and individual lawyers within those firms.

2. Major corporate officials who support this administration for immoral reasons, not economic reasons.

3. Federal agency officials who support this administration for the same reason.

4. Congressmen and women who support this administration for the same reason.

ALL must be held responsible. The president is merely a figurehead representing the bigger boil beneath the skin.
