A better iea is to take over the GOP from the inside and boot the RINOs to the curb.

No it's not. The GOP brand is dead. It's as dead as naming newborns Adolph Hitler.

the time was 2007...i waited until 2010...

the closest thing out there a conservative can link himself to is libertarian...

with the exception of 2 items on their plank, i am on board...

i would rather work with people who say what they mean and mean what they say, then people who will lie right to your face..

i will work with the libertairans to change their platform..

“Wit”? More like lemming impulse to party-shill right off the edge of the cliff while angrily insulting all the folks who finally figured out the definition of insanity, which has clearly sailed WAY over Deb’s head.

“It’s time to stop and make them fear us and the only way to do that is to withhold your money and votes from them and give it to someone (regardless as to what party) that will actually stand for our freedoms and rights...for the two parties we have now have no intention in doing so.”

Sorry but your contributions aren’t enough to get the ear of anybody.
When the politicians want money, and that’s politicians from either party, they go to the big money special interests groups.
The reason both side seem basically the same is because both are owned by the same group of big money doners.

I admit you’ll have no problem attracting conservatives. You just won’t be able to attract enough middle-of-the-road Republicans to win elections.

You're operating under the false assumption and delusion that our electoral system in the Age of NerObama is open and honest.

It's not. We went full Soviet and Cook County went national in 2009.

2012 is the future of how elections will be 'won' from now on out.

Coward patriots vote for government tyrant statists. Brave patriots refrain from voting for government tyrant statists.

Go show 'em, Deb. Go sit with Romney, McCain, and Boehner.

(sobs) You're mean.

But, wait, how am I a "lemming"? Name ANYONE who has stood up for the Republicans? Everyone on this site has flocked together in a political suicide pact. You're the "lemmings"...and not particularly interesting ones. Good luck with you Pure, Principled Party and God help America.

I misunderstood you. I thought you were advocating not voting for Republicans. My error. Sorry.

It only makes sense in open primary states, where you can still try to vote RINOs out of the GOP. Otherwise, I think they’ll be quite happy to see us leave.

Name ANYONE who has stood up for the Republicans?

The media.

They "stand up" for the Republicans when they agree with Obama.

You're the "lemmings"...and not particularly interesting ones. Good luck with you Pure, Principled Party and God help America.

As if the Ruling Class Judenrat GOP has any 'principles' beyond supporting Obama's agenda and attacking Conservatives at every single turn and every opportunity.

So, clearly the Goose-stepping lemmings are those going off the cliff with Boehner and McConnell, who are helping Obama take us all over the cliff.

OK. From your previous post I thought you were basically saying to give up, that there is nothing to do because every politician is so corrupted or corruptible, so we should just not even try. I get very frustrated with some of the defeatists on FR and thought that was where you were going with your post.

You are an absolute fool to think your vote counts. Votes aren’t earned...they are paid for.

Ask yourself: Why did they pick Romney (the timid) when most people thought that the only chance we had was Gingrich? It was not the fear of the small contributor, it was the direct edict of the rich who control the Republican party.

If enough small contributors had revolted, things might have been very different......but they were Republican lemmings and followed the popular route.

Guess where that got us?

I see. American conservatives like me refuse to vote for politicians who want to:

-- foist nationalized health care on Americans
-- punish people for exercising their God-given right to peacefully, civilly reject openly homosexual people in their kids' clubs, schools, the military, businesses, and adoption agencies
-- use government regulation to cripple energy and food production by way of "save the planet" environmental tyranny

We do so after much though, having to muster tremendous courage, and we do so after having ALREADY voted your way, in my case for more than three decades. We finally figure it out and refuse to vote for politicians who promotes those and many other evils, and because that politician pushing it is registered as a Republican, you call me a "purist."

You, on the otherhand, are a lemming who fails to learn from mistakes, and who will do whatever the Republican party tells you do, even if it includes voting against the interests of American freedom.

Deb, folks who think like you do are a BIGGER and MORE DANGEROUS threat to America than liberal Democrats -- they pose less danger because at least they're honest about what they are, while you lie EVEN TO YOURSELF about what you and your candidates are, you continue to TOLERATE and help toward victory anti-freedom and pro-tyrannical people in the GOP, and you work to obstruct and stifle anyone who has a solution other than YOUR solution which has been a proven failure.

And what on earth does whether or not anyone has stood up for Republicans have to do with it? Answer: IT DOESN'T. The suicide pact is all on your side, dear. You just don't have the courage to admit that your tried-and-true strategy is a PROVEN FAILURE.

"You are an absolute fool to think your vote counts"

My vote is negated by Vote Fraud, God-knows-who/how Elections are stolen via "the count", and the Illegals who will be allowed to Vote in 2014 and beyond (Amnesty) will wipe out millions of TRUE Citizen votes....

Re-read my previous posts: your vote is worthless.

Ah yes, another semi-monthly temper tantrum by the same usual suspects. (puff-puff-Patooy)

How is this a temper tantrum? How is this any different than any Tea Party demonstration, beyond being easier, cheaper, and allowing maximum flexibility (i.e. just because we don't register as Republicans does not preclude voting for them if and when warranted.)

Meanwhile, a significant drop in registrations would definitely send a message to the Republican Party that they cannot afford to ignore the base.

How is that not a valid grass roots activity that, if successful, is bound to pressure the Republicans in a very real way?
