Goes to show Russia’s desperation to stop the strike on their ally Syria. I suspect, also, that a lot of the disinformation out in the media now is as a result of Russia’s intelligence service working to sway public opinion against any action. It’s revealing and tells me that Russia is impotent in stopping us if we decide to strike, contrary to all the people warning about Russia’s military. It also furthers my conviction that we ought to take Assad out, regardless of who takes over, since it is poses such a serious problem for Russian strategy. The people who will take over in Syria might still be our enemies, but it is likely it’ll be harder for Russia to have any influence over them, or coordinate them with our and Israel’s other enemies. Syria + Iran + Russia are making a dangerous triad in the middle east, and anything that breaks that up is a good thing.

” and anything that breaks that up is a good thing.”

Like flying close air support to help Al Qeida take over Syria so they can behead Orthodox Christians?

Boy, that’ll change a lot of hearts and minds. sark/ Especially in the House.

Regarding disinformation, I’ll bet that Syria video showing a rebel cutting out and eating a heart was a plant. Some years ago, people high up in US (can’t remember who) felt fairly certain that a blown up apartment building in Russia (over 300 killed?) was a put up job by Putin to tar the Chechen rebels and win his election.

If the US government sides with the Muzzie Brotherhood by attacking Assad, it will result in increased persecution of Christians in Syria as well as the eventual formation of the neo-Ottoman empire, which is Obama’s plan all along.

PS: For the premillennialist Freepers among us... it means Obama is trying to revive the kingdom that toppled the Roman Empire in 1453 to become the 7th kingdom described in Revelation 17, but was toppled after World War I.

Who is this "we" that you speak of here? Because you can count me out of this one. But I am sure your dirtbag Kenyan president and his buttboys McLame and Grahmnesty appreciate your support.

So you’re in agreement with 0bama, McCain, and Graham? Do you believe that any of those 3 are trying to protect Israel?

July 25, 2007 WSJ article:

To Check Syria, U.S. Explores Bond With Muslim Brothers

This thread has a discussion that includes that article (post #13 has some quick highlights):

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3060357/posts

Unfortunately, the US government, over a century ago, fell under the virtual complete control of the Anglo-American financial oligarchs, better known as new world order. That article even leaves out what NWO does not want revealed, which is that muslim terrorism is the creation of Western intelligence at the behest of NWO. Without the conflict terrorism provides, there's no reason to keep spending hundreds of billions on "protecting us". This is why NWO initiated their terrorism efforts after the USSR so-called "collapse", since the end of the decades-old "competition" would cause a collapse in US defense spending.

The US history we are taught is a complete sham, as new world order is the instigator of wars, and populations of nations (sheeple) and national leaders are used like pawns.

It's about time we stop.

“It’s revealing and tells me that Russia is impotent in stopping us if we decide to strike, contrary to all the people warning about Russia’s military.”

Or...

Since Obama screwed Russia over so badly in Libya with the “NoFly” Close Air Support Zone, Putin is determined to not let that happen again.

He KNOWS Obama is a weak, spineless wonk, and thinks he won’t risk a confrontation with Russia over this.

And after what happened Friday, shortly after telling Russian ships in the Med to prepare for a “Severe Confrontation”, it seems he may be right.

You’ll note that Russian rhetoric on this seems to be attacking Obama’s ego directly, and NOT the United States in general? They KNOW he’s a clinical narcissist, and are using that.
