Good on you, as you did the right thing. You refused an order to save lives, and you kept in your chain of command...very admirable.
These men have not been given any illegal orders. If orders are given they find to be illegal, they can refuse them. They cannot issue political statements in uniform. They are making political statements about hypothetical orders.
So maybe we as a country have to limit power of our president to minimum. Let the congress to authorize even minimal military action.
