Thanks for the ping. Missed all of last weeks festivities, including the race, due to travel to the midwest & NYC. Waved to ya as we flew over while going to Denver (from Oregon) then on to Omaha. NYC was a blast - eat, shop. museum (the Met) and Chicago - the play. Also had a stop in Charlotte, N.C. People talk funny there. It’s one thing to have certain NASCAR announcers with that obvious “twang” but I didn’t expect the 757 Captain to have it. He did - it doesn’t help that my hearing hasn’t been the same since Nam - couldn’t understand him. Anyway, busy sports weekend. College football starting, Sunday evening race. Life is good plus I’m home.

Hey, you really may have waved to me. I am under the route that planes arriving from the West take as they are descending into Denver.

How long did you spend in NYC? We were only there for a couple of hours to see the WTC and eat a NYC bagel. We plan on going back. Well, we drove around NYC the day before we actually visited.

I found an engine tuner in Colorado Springs (Kleemann USA)for MB and some other cars like Audi. They do engine fuel mapping and other things like exhaust systems to boost performance. The MB C300 has the same 3.5L engine as the C350. It is just detuned from 305hp to 228hp so I may be able to get it tuned to between 305hp to 350hp. In the Audi S6 the 4L V-8 twin turbo makes 420hp, but is the same engine that will be tuned to 550hp in the RS7. If I could get the S6 tuned to over 500hp I would be happy.
