A recent survey by the Pew Research Center has found that fewer than half of all Americans believe the country has made progress toward racial equality. Additionally, only one in every four African Americans in the country believe the situation for blacks in the US is better now than it was five years ago when President Obama took office. Not only is the number alarmingly low now in the second term of Obama's presidency, but it is also down sharply from the 39% who said the situation for blacks was better when President Obama took office in 2009...
