Oh, puh-lease! This generation did not invent sex. Get over it. The very same sort of public sex and nudity went on back in the 60s, after the pill became available. The baby boomers rebelling against the mores of the more conservative war generation. Two generations before that, hedonism ruled in the 1920s, when women’s liberation movement scored its big victory and decided that free sex was the next step. College students in the 20s engaged in the same drunken orgies you’ll find on campuses today. No doubt they were not happy about their conservative parents’ morals.

Go two generations before that and you’ll hit the civil war, which probably prevented a hedonistic decade (at least, I haven’t heard of one at that time). Barring exceptional circumstances, the conservative-liberal oscillations seem to go on, with each generation rebelling against its parents. This most certainly was so in ancient Greece, and before that in Egypt. Ancient egyptian women were quite adept at making sexy clothing.

So please stop pretending you’re the first to discover conservative values, or that today’s teenagers are in any way exceptional. The only real difference today is that pictures of everything get published. In ancient Egypt all they had was gossip. They survived, and so shall we.

No savagery is not old. What is new is that the recent salvation from savagery is now spit upon. People do not have the mental intellectual fortitude to cope with modern science. Instead of seeing production as a means to coordinate with growing families, the savages are seeing opportunities to go the KFC chicken battery orgy way. Concerts are a deviancy of industrialized orgy and sex. What used to be amateurish and local is now going professional. The sluts take themselves very seriously, hence the feminists’ condescension towards conservative values which look amateurish.

Ok, so how many generations ago did people start filming their teen sex-acts and placing them on an internationally accessible network where everyone else can see you doing it?

Put up 10 fingers. Now take them all down.

Nothing past generations did had the ability to “go viral” past your school, maybe your small town. Now these stupid kids have people all over the world talking about it because they cant control themselves at the amounts that may look non-existent to you today, but were real back then, despite those examples.

Seems to me that you agree with most of the rest of us. She did a sex act in public, it brought her either pleasure or some perverse kind of fun. So the “puh-leeze” comments should be directed at the randy gal — don’t be so sensitive when your public acts become public.
