What freakin’ asshat doctors decided that sex change was healthcare and not detrimental treatment?

Apart from all the other reasons he shouldn’t get a sex change, this amounts to elective surgery. When was the last time you heard of the Army paying for face lifts or breast implants for soldiers? This ought to be considered destruction of government property.

What all these procedures have in common with sex change, is that they deny that normal, natural form and function is the definition of health; so they deny that achieving normal, natural form and function is therefore the only legitimate goal of healthcare.
All of these procedures temporarily or permanently destroy sexuality as a naural, normal, healthy procreative power.
I'd be interested in whether any religious Jew or Chrisian wants to say that sex-change operations are prohibited by Sacred Scripture. If so, can you cite chapter and verse?
My own undersandsing is that they are not specifically prohibited by Scripure but are nevertheless forbidden by Divine and Natural Law.
