NEW YORK (MainStreet)The government is providing assistance for student debtors in creating default avoidance plans for them. But what about the parents who borrowed money through the PLUS program? What options have they?
Not many it seems.

Getting lots of hits?
I’m about 5 months from having all my debts except the mortgage paid off.
I plan to keep it that way.
Geeze, what parent in their right mind allows their children to incur such debt to begin with?
Of course they have to pay it back.
On all these college tours Obama loves so much, that question should be asked every time he opens his pie hole. "Mr President, with yourself as a role model, please tell us how you did it?, How did you manage to pay for your Ivy league education?"
I have no way of knowing. Does it matter? Why are you interested?
Cough coug...blog pimp.
Oh, your blog has a hit counter.

That’s why it’s excerpted here, to get hits.
There’s a term for parents who borrow money through the PLUS program. They are called “idiots.” We did that one semester. Worst run program I’ve ever dealt with. Hey, I’ve got an idea! Let’s let them run our health care system, too!
oh come on... parents don’t know how much they are committing to when they take out college loans? don’t take out the loan if you don’t want to be strapped for years and years...
It is not a blog and it is not mine.
But what is it to you anyway? Are you one of those freeloaders I was speaking to last week? Not only are you freeloaders too lazy to click on a link to read something - you freeloaders are arrogant.
You think you can make the rules for a forum that is not yours - pathetic. This is not your forum. You do not get to tell people what to do.
So stop trying to hog Robinson’s forum.
You want to tell people what to do - get your own. Stop being a freeloading liberal troll on FR.
Unfortunately too many parents have been sold on the idea to get a good job get a good education.
I do not think they are idiots. The colleges are making a bundle off of them though.
Please point out where I “told you what to do”.
I’m merely pointing out that you are pimping your bloggy-writing here in order to get hits.
And you don’t like it.
Have you looked for a job lately, everyone wants a degree, I saw an advertisement for a receptionist position paying $10 an hour, business degree preferred. Our society has bought into the educational system.
