I don’t have the book yet, but I’ve been listening and watching Mark a lot in the promotion of the book. He’s saying the states can call the convention and the state legislatures would select the delegates. What he thinks that does is create a firewall to keep out the leftist amendments because there’s no way 2/3 of the states would send delegates to produce leftwing amendments. Nor would 3/4 of the states ratify them afterwards.
Don't be too sure about that.
The beauty of this plan is that it leverages the innate desire of a pol to give himself more power to rectify the overreach of the feds.
