Gore paved the way for Obama. No doubt. Without Bush as a boogeyman to rally against, the Dems were probably in trouble.

The chickens are coming home to roost. I just read about UPS and Delta axing the spouses from their employee health care coverages. That's gotta affect a couple of hundred thousand employees, at least some of whom voted Dem.

Going to leave a mark, for sure. But is it the "tipping point"? Who knows. I've seen so many "Tipping Points" trumpeted here on FR that I've lost count.
