Ooops! Somebody screwed up. The Coroner was supposed to be conducting an exam on....ashes.

Just as amazing that the Coroner was still able to determine "traces of" ANYTHING in the charred remains. But that's ok. The body can always be exhumed for further examination. OH WAIT...

Leather is actually quite fire resistant, so it’s not unusual to find wallet contents preserved even in a bad fire.
