I always ask something similar and it either shuts the liberal up or it causes them to start sputtering something like: “Well, now...you’re just being ridiculous...we’re trying to help...don’t you care about the poor? blah blah blah”

Well, it looks like I’m helping the poor MORE. If giving more money by law is the measure of compassion, I am 20 times more compassionate than the one who wants to raise the minimum wage to a pathetic $15.00 ( I recommend $300, with that, they can get a house pretty quick ).

Have fun buying a $10 cheeesburger at MickeyD’s and forget the dollar menus at any other fast food joint, lefties. Oh you can’t afford to eat while you’re in college getting ready to graduate but won’t be able to pay back your $100K + student loan because you can’t find any other work other than fast food joints which was all caused by YOU and your kind electing a cult of personality antichrist president? I feel so sorry for you. Have fun being oppressed by the tyrant because of your own stupidity. Its not going to be pretty.

Focus on one central point, do not stray, latch on like a pit bull and refuse to go further until they understand: ‘that is not your money’.

When employer and employee agree on wage, the money the employer pays- is not your money. In fact the money the employee recieves- is not your money.

For you to put your designs on other people’s money is despicable.

If you think that people ‘deserve’ $15/hr regardless of the value they are trading, then HIRE them yourself and pay them yourself with YOUR money.

Any hope of a productive discussion is impossible with one who does not ‘get’ that they have no right to spend other people’s money.

Most often the conversion never gets past this point. And that is fine. Any conversation that would follow with this being misunderstood is a complete waste of time.

Here is the way to explain this the the Millenials, many of whom are stuck working in the lower end jobs due to Obama’s disastrous economy.

Raising the minimum wage by one dollar an hour has exactly the same effect as lower the wage of every other American by one dollar an hour. Why would you support Obama’s efforts to lower everyone’s wages?

The people hurt the most by this are the ones who have worked three way up to whatever the wage is being raised to. All of he time and effort that they have invested to rise to that wage would be instantly STOLEN. They are kicked back to the starting line.

I would love Obama to have an actual press conference and be asked- “Do you make more than minimum wage? Why?” Make him be the “awful mean greedy bad guy” by forcing him to explain ‘well I am worth more than minimum wage because...”
