I was just thinking the soviets had a party boss in every army unit. I believe the Nazis did also.

in about 4 years the us armed services will look nothing like those at the time of gen patton.

imagine all the lives and suffering that they gave to this country, and now this.

Bingo. That's what the JAG corps is becoming: what were called "zampolits" (political officers) in the Red Army-- representatives of the KGB.
