Israel, Saudis and U.A.E. Support Military Moves
The U.S.'s closest Middle East allies are undercutting American policy in Egypt, encouraging the military to confront the Muslim Brotherhood rather than reconcile, U.S. and Arab officials said.
The parallel efforts by Israel, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have blunted U.S. influence with Egypt's military leadership and underscored how the chaos there has pulled Israel into ever-closer alignment with those Gulf states, officials said.
A senior Israeli official called the anti-Muslim Brotherhood nations "the axis of reason."
The Obama administration first had sought to persuade Egyptian military leader Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Sisi not to overthrow the elected government of President Mohammed Morsi and then to reconcile with his Muslim Brotherhood base.
Gen. Sisi has done the oppositeorchestrating the president's overthrow and a crackdown in which over 900 people have been killed since Wednesdayreflecting his apparent confidence in the Egyptian government's ability to weather an American backlash, U.S. and Arab officials said.

The world is truly upside down.
It shows how Obama has shrunk our influence in the world, even among our allies.
Israel, Saudis and U.A.E. see Al Qaida as a threat.
ObaMao sees Al Qaida as an ally.
It's the policy of Mullah 0bama.
Good plan.
Confront and destroy.
“Allies Thwart America in Egypt.”
No.
“Allies Thwart Obama in Egypt.”
Let’s be clear about this. Obama’s interests are not the same as America’s interests. Egypt and its allies are more than aware of this, and while they respect America, the same cannot be said of Obama.
They are thwarting OBAMUGABE....not the American people.
Too bad 99% of the American media is stuck in their Obama worship mode 24/7.
It is NOT American policy.
Is Brack Hussein’s policy.
Obama’s backing of the MB here should send shivers down the spine of every US Senator — but I don’t think many of them have one anymore.
They’re smart. They see what’s happening in Iraq and Afghanistan AND Syria with AQ.
Wipe them out while they have a chance at it.

Imagine how “complicated” our US policy is gonna get when Egypt is not interested in emergency support when we need to transit the Suez, and Saudi and the Gulf are not interested in investing in our bonds or permitting overflights or base support
maybe obama is doing more to bring together the Israelis and the arabs than his predecessors
“O” is succeeding in making the US irrelevant.
For America, it will be a long road back from THIS administration.
He facilitated it in Egypt.
Remember when he said something about 'if the winds changed' he would side with the Muslims. Something like that, I don't have the quote next to my computer, but I'm going to post it at my desk for handy reference.
The guy is Muslim - Muslim Brotherhood-style. There are pictures of Obama meeting with MB's in the White House.
And, his treatment towards Israel is so apparent. He sees Netanyahu as a pest and has said as much as that when he was speaking to a Russian diplomat. I'm pretty sure it was Russia - At any rate, he told a world leader something about having to deal with Netanyahu daily, like it was a big honking deal; a cross he had to bear, I guess.
Obama "Danger".
As for “...deal with Netanyahu daily, like it was a big honking deal...”, I get the impression that tying his own shoes is a big honking deal for “O”.
“O” is and has always been inimical to the United States. There should NEVER have been a single American voter who misunderstood this.
There were many and to their eternal shame, WE have to live with the consequences!
bkmk
Obamas allies. Not mine!
Allies, yeah, good one. Zero’s allies are the Mo-Bro-Hood, those murdering cousins of his in his Kenyan birthplace, some guy named Al Kaidah, another one named Al Jazeera, and anyone else with his fly open and an open jar of petroleum jelly in one hand.
Thanks kress.
